"Celebrating the Diversity and Beauty of the World of Hummingbirds"
The new Hummingbird Photo Gallery is the "cutting edge" of our web pages. It truly has no equal on the web! It draws more and more traffic every week. All visitors to the site are learning about the diversity of the hummingbird family, and they cannot miss our message that some hummingbird species are endangered. Importantly, too, some visitors are asking for information about the Hummingbird Society, and some of these are becoming members.
This site would not be possible without the many photographers who generously permit us to show their photographs. We are very grateful for their support. Hummingbird photography is one of the most difficult forms of wildlife photography because of the fast-moving, tiny-sized nature of hummingbirds, and few individuals master the technique.
Future plans for the site include adding hummingbird videos, hummingbird art, and hummingbird flowers.
The time needed to create and modify these pages is an expense to us, even with the assistance of volunteers. We invite financial support.
