No other bird captures attention more readily than the hummingbird. They are often called symbols of lightness and joy.
The International Hummingbird Society counts on our members to help us carry out our mission of teaching about hummingbirds and working internationally to protect them.
We answer calls and emails every day with questions about hummingbird behavior and biology, questions about what to do with an injured hummingbird, and questions about attracting and feeding hummingbirds. We also proactively distribute information on these topics through our website, social media, and live speaker presentations. At our annual Sedona Hummingbird Festival, hundreds of participants come together to share the joy of seeing, learning about, and celebrating these flying jewels. In addition, we work with avian conservation organizations to support international projects aimed at protecting species at risk of extinction.

Note: The ​Juan Fernandez Firecrown (JFF) level of $1000 is a lifetime membership. You receive the benefits of membership for your lifetime! In addition, every time you come to the Sedona Hummingbird Festival, you receive free admission to all the speaker presentations. You will also receive special recognition at the festival. The JFF Family membership ($1500) covers a couple and their minor children.

Business Membership and Corporate Sponsorship
Small businesses that are in harmony with the Society and its goals can become a Business Member for $150 a year. Improved customer perception-You’ll find everyone loves hummingbirds; they capture the imagination and are non-controversial. We encourage you to display your support for hummingbirds in your store, on your website, and in your publications. Benefits: We will put the link to your business on our website for a year as a supporter and encourage our members to shop with our small businesses.

$500 and higher.
